A La MAQUINA!'s flagship chile roaster was built for high volume back to back roasting and commercial applications, roasting 20-25lbs of peppers in just over three minutes.
Our roasters are loaded from a beveled opening in the top, which means no door to open and no funnel for the chile. Kevlar welding gloves are not required to run our roasters. The operator never touches the heat of the barrel and also never has to handle the chile directly.
Chile can be loaded directly from the sack or box into the roaster while the barrel is spinning. When the chile is perfectly roasted the entire barrel rotates and dumps the chile into a heat-safe bag or bin. This means the barrel never stops rotating in-between roasts which lowers down time and keeps on lookers attention.
We use food-grade stainless on all of our food contact surfaces and have tried to go above and beyond to make the roasting process safer for operators, those consuming the chile after it’s roasted. We know we need to couple safety with efficiency in order to convince the industry that a better roaster has finally come about.
